Welcome to Chef Tikus Gila's crazy world of cooking!

This month, Chef Tikus Gila takes us on an exploratory journey into the world of yummy vegetarian food. Before we begin, let's take a look at the basic essentials we need.

1. First, purchase a Vegetarian Student.

This can be obtained from the MPH near you!

2. Make sure you know what ingredients you need and buy them.

3. Head to your nearest functioning kitchen that is stocked with equipment and PROCEED!


As we begin on our quest to try every recipe in the book (yes, no kidding!) Chef Tikus Gila decides to try his hand at mushroom risotto with blueberry yoghurt for dessert. Yums!

First, we check out the mushroom risotto recipe.

Thereafter, wash and cut up all your mushrooms to nibble-able size. Today, we've used a mixture of mushrooms which you can get at your nearest supermarket. This includes oysters mushrooms, brown and white mushrooms and others. If you'll see the picture below, we have Chef Tikus Gila receiving the Mushroom Head Award - the craziest chef in the galaxy. We cooked this award later, it was too good not to use!

I will leave Chef Tikus Gila to give us the details on how he cooked the mushroom risotto…and was caught in the act of cooking by the Singing Landlady and had to clean up the whole kitchen! *sob sob* It was like CWO he said. But no worries, the mushroom risotoo was unharmed!

For dessert, Chef Tikus Gila prepared the scrumptious blueberry yoghurt. A little sour a little sweet, it was the perfect nutritious yet sweet ending to our meal.
